We work hard to educate the public about home ownership, the financing process, numerous ways to save money, and we love to shine the light on myths and marketing hype that cost people money. Our belief is that an educated customer is a happy customer, and we want you to be happy!

At First Foundation we believe that the foundation of successful family finances is home ownership. Our primary aim is to encourage home ownership and serve people who are purchasing a home, by obtaining for them financing that makes it possible and affordable. For home owners that already own a home, we want to ensure that home ownership is enjoyable and not stressful, by optimizing their financing and saving them money.
First Foundation acts as a home mortgage broker, representing clients who wish to obtain a home mortgage loan for residential real estate. This financing can be used for multiple purposes, including the purchase of a home, renewal of an existing mortgage, debt consolidation, renovations, and more.
As a mortgage broker, we submit mortgage applications to a variety of home mortgage lenders, and based on the client’s credit, employment history, income and other factors, choose the lender and product that best suits the client’s needs. Priority is placed on finding our clients the absolute best mortgage rate available to them based on their qualifications.

At the heart of what we do is a strong desire to help you save money. We believe that everyone who qualifies for a mortgage should have the lowest interest rate possible, and we work hard to achieve that for our customers. As a mortgage brokerage we have the ability to obtain financing for you from virtually any lender in Canada – and competition means savings.

At First Foundation we believe that, once a family has achieved their goal of home ownership, the next step is to set new goals. Specifically, we strive to work with families to help them increase their net worth. New strategies that build off the benefits of home ownership can include investment properties, debt consolidation and elimination, and other real estate related investments that offer solid, predictable returns.
Protect
Finally, but perhaps most importantly, we work with families to ensure that they have the proper protection for themselves, their loved ones, and their home and assets. Proper insurance protection strategies – including mortgage life, disability, and property coverage – are discussed. Working with a variety of expert partners we can provide or refer you to specialists to ensure that you and your family and home are well taken care of in the event of a death, disability, or other unwanted event. We also work with highly respected legal teams to ensure that your property transactions go smoothly and you receive the proper advice and legal protection.
