Sheila Gillis

Licensed Mortgage Broker

Sheila Gillis Profile Picture

Sheila is an ex-banker who saw the light. After nearly a decade in the banking world she decided to use a mortgage broker for the purchase of her own home and began to seriously reflect on whether she was investing her time on the right side of the financing industry. Fast forward a few years and Sheila is proud to be able to offer her clients true ownership choice in their mortgage and financing needs, especially now that she is part of the First Foundation Team.

Sheila is a planner. While her planning obsession can seem over the top to friends and family members, when she is trying to organize a summer holiday two years from now, her clients appreciate that she is looking out for their best interests. You can be sure that if you’re a client of Sheila’s, she’s got your back, not just for today, but well into the future too. With past experience as an Account Manager with both HSBC Bank Canada and the Business Development Bank of Canada, as well as holding her mortgage broker license, you can be sure that Sheila knows her way around the financing world!

Originally from the East Coast, Sheila and her family have made Beaumont their home. She is an active volunteer with the Town of Beaumont Promotions Committee, as well as with her daughters’ school and sports teams. She has a passion for financial literacy and is involved in creating opportunities for local youth to gain their First Foundation in entrepreneurship. When she’s not driving her two girls to various extracurricular activities, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family in the summer or hiding under a blanket with her little dog Grizwald during the winter months.
