White City/Emerald Park Watermelon Walk/Run

The communities of White City and Emerald Park are hosting their 4th Annual Watermelon Walk/Run on June 15th, 2013. White City and Emerald Park, located only 10km east of Regina, are booming communities with over 4000 residents combined.

This year's Watermelon Walk/Run, hosted by the White City and Emerald Park Parks and Rec Board, will boast a new Official Timed Race for the 3K, 5K, and 10K, along with the traditional Family Walk/Run of 3K or 5K. The runs start at 9:00am and 9:15am respectively, departing from the Splash Park on Gregory Avenue in White City.

Registration

Registration for White City/Emerald Park Watermelon Walk/Run is $15/adults, $10/youth, children 5 and under are free. The Watermelon Walk/Run registrants will receive a run package, food/drinks after the race and entrance into prize draws. Please register for the White City/Emerald Park Watermelon Walk/Run by May 1st. Register at Loca Fitness in Emerald Park, or through Kara Lachance at [email protected] or by phone at 306-522-1219.

Everyone is invited to partake in the fun at the community splash park, including dino bouncers, watermelon, and splash park fun!
