Canada Revenue Agency Mail Scam Alert

By

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) released an announcement recently, warning Canadians that fraudulent letters have been sent out. The letters ask for personal information to update the recipient’s account with the CRA in order to redeem any tax claims that may be outstanding. The CRA has advised that this letter was not sent by the agency, but rather a third party attempting to obtain personal information from Canadians.

First Foundation takes the safety of our customers and their personal information very seriously, and sharing this CRA announcement with you is another way First Foundation is working to protect and serve our customers.

If you’d like to read the full announcement from the CRA, you can do so here.
