As a first time home buyer, I was relatively unaware of all the complexities and steps required to secure a mortgage and eventually purchase a house. After doing some independent research on residential mortgages, I contacted First Foundation to inquire about a mortgage pre-approval. This is when I first met Shayla. Shayla clearly explained the step by step process, answering all of my questions in a professional manner, even if I asked the same question twice or even three times. A little context, being new to the mortgage process and in light of the fact that I had to leave the province the day before the conditions were set to come off the house I purchased, I placed a significant amount of pressure on Shayla to get an answer to me before I left so I could return the condition removal document to the seller.
