Spreadsheets, Retirement Savings and The Cloud of Probability
Because Money Episode 8 Summary
Are young Canadians saving enough for retirement, are Canadians actually saving anything for retirement? I guess it depends on who you ask. If you ask a financial planner, of course they will tell you that all their clients are saving. So how do you know which stats you can trust? In a small twitter poll conducted while the episode was airing, the common thought was there is no use saving money while you are trying to pay off debt. Which in itself speaks to where people are at financially.
