Help First Foundation Mortgages Aid Edmonton’s 2011 Grads!

Are you one of our mortgage clients who is planning to make a move to a new home this spring? Want one less thing to pack? If you have some newer bridesmaid or formal style dresses lurking in the back of your closet, we want them!

First Foundation team member, Lisa Last, has taken the dreams of less fortunate graduates to heart and is personally asking for donations of formal dresses to aid one of our equally kind hearted clients who brought the dress drive to her attention this week. The charity responsible for this wonderful concept is Cinderella’s Closet Foundation and their mission statement sums up their purpose best:

Dare To Dream: Everyone is a Prince or a Princess, sometimes you just need something to wear from people who care. It is our mission to provide graduation attire for those students who require financial assistance. It is the Foundation’s goal to help everyone have a seamless graduation without a worry.

As per their website, Cinderella’s Closet needs new, or gently used dresses, suitable for formal or Prom attire (1-2) years old would be preferable), all sizes. They are in desperate need of Plus sizes (20-38 or larger), and they would greatly appreciate the donation of dresses of this size, as well as all other sizes.

Feel free to drop your dresses off to Lisa Last at the First Foundation Edmonton office during regular office hours, by March18th, 2011 OR bring dresses to the following locations which are accepting donations from early April to the beginning of June.
