We just found out late last week that First Foundation is a finalist for the “Top Customer Service from an Individual Office” award at the 2013 Canadian Mortgage Awards. We are so honoured. A great big thank-you to everyone who nominated us for this award.
One of the things that I’m most proud of is that this is a true “team” award. Everyone in the company represents us when it comes to customer service. Whether it’s Lisa, Jenn, or Darren working their tails off to get a client an approval and satisfy their conditions on time, or Tracy who designed most of our customer service processes and procedures, to Vicki who ensures that our follow-up is done consistently and on-time - it really takes a complete team effort to be great at customer service. Even Jackson, who only joined us late last year in Regina, has contributed a ton to ensuring that people get well taken care of.
I’m truly blessed to be working with such a great group of people and thankful that each and every one of them cares about the job they do and cares about the people that we serve. It makes it impossible to fail, and I’m proud of them for a well deserved nomination. Whether or not we win the award, I know in my heart that this team is deserving.

Every year Canadian Mortgage Professional Magazine hosts the Canadian mortgage industry’s biggest event - the Canadian Mortgage Awards - in Toronto. This year there are twenty-one categories of awards honouring both businesses and individuals for outstanding achievement, and over six-hundred guests are expected to attend.
First Foundation is a past winner at the Canadian Mortgage Awards in the category of “Top Internet Presence” and a multi-time finalist in the categories of “Top Customer Service”, “Mortgage Brokerage of the Year (under 25 employees)”, “Top Internet Presence” and “Best Newcomer”.
