Who We Are
First Foundation is an independent brokerage that helps Alberta’s home buyers and owners secure a mortgage at the best rate available from Canada’s top mortgage lenders. Motivated by a desire to help people achieve homeownership with savings and security, First Foundation always acts in the best interest of its client. We’ll assist you through the financing process by coordinating activities between borrowers, lenders, lawyers, REALTORS®, and appraisers (to name a few).
What We Do
Unlike a bank, we have the freedom to provide you with the best rates available the first time, without having to negotiate. Obligated by law, but motivated by the desire to help you achieve homeownership with savings and security, we will always act in your best interest. We’re also free from the pressure imposed by strictly commission-based structures, so we have the time to really understand your needs and provide you with more personalized mortgage services.
Once financing is in place, we work to ensure that you have the proper insurance protection in place, using the Mortgage Protection Plan or the services of other insurance and financial advisors. We also work very closely with trusted professionals, including the top REALTORS®, Home Inspectors, and Legal Counsel in Alberta to make sure you get great service throughout the entire process.
Services We Don’t Offer
In the interest of providing the best possible service to our current and future clients, First Foundation cannot be everything to everyone.
At First Foundation we reserve the right to decline applications based on poor credit scores, undesirable properties and other negative factors.
In the event that we are unable to process an application for any of the above-mentioned reasons, we are happy to refer you to a mortgage broker who may be able to accommodate your needs.
