Meet Elyce, the newly crowned Insurance Broker at First Foundation who's swapped telecom cables and door dings for policies and premiums! Elyce just joined us in 2023, but she's already showing us that she's got the 'claim' to fame in the insurance world.
After a 4-year stint in the Telecommunication Infrastructure industry managing client escalations and dealing with aftermaths of construction, Elyce's resourcefulness is beyond 're-pair'. Just when you think that's all, she also has a history of booking in clients with claims and non-insurance related repairs in the autobody industry, a talent that surely 'auto' get her far in her new role.
She joined First Foundation because of its unique diversity - a combo of Mortgage Brokers, Wealth Management, and Insurance Brokers that resonated with her eclectic career history. She's thrilled to be part of the 'one-stop shop' solution for clients, branching out into new avenues, and contributing to a holistic service offering.
With a degree in Business Management tucked neatly under her arm and years of varied professional experiences, Elyce has navigated her way into the insurance sector. She's got two big wins under her belt already - the completion of C11 & C130 courses from the Northern Alberta Insurance Institute, securing her General Level 1 Brokers License. Her next target? The CIP designation. Stay tuned, because this gal is on a 'policy' roll!
Away from the buzz of insurance talk and client meetings, Elyce is quite the adventurer. Hailing from Small-Town Alberta, her time-off is all about teeing up on the golf course, getting lost in hiking trails, making waves kayaking, and voyaging to new locales. She’s also handy with a saw and a chisel, showing off her woodworking skills, and cherishes quality moments spent with her family.
A true Jill of all trades, Elyce's professional and personal life is never short of excitement. Her mantra? Life's not about 'claims' and 'policies' alone, but the adventures you find along the way. Whether she's discovering the next best insurance solution or the perfect golf swing, Elyce is all about growth, exploration, and bringing her best to the table, or the tee, as the case may be.
